Man I didn't believe it, i thought we would only see like 6 horsepower. But we installed a BBK cold air with a granetilli mass air to match it and we got a gain of 22 horsepower at the wheel in my hot rod class at school today. This was on a 95 GT vert with a 5 speed by the way. I am buyin one this weekend now.

Sure does seem high to me. IF that were true, peple would be buyin them all the time. Unless ofcourse so mething was WAAAY wrong before, and the new cai and maf freed the stuff up, and took it back to normal, then some. Did you dyno it before the new stuff ?

im guessing that they prolly dyno tuned it first with a stock air box and clogged dirty stock syle filter and they also prolly forget to mention that there was a mud wasp nest blocking the stock air pipe, thus when they installed the new cai and maf they just freed up the original hp and maybe added 5 or 10 hp to what it should have been[8D]
