Hey, r.barn i saw your dyno numbers and what you got, congrats. So i guess ill go off of what you got and go with longtubes, and bigger maf and tb.

The fox headers will work right, with just some minor mods im guessing?

I was looking at cams last night, and im not to sure what to get. I want somethig with a decent idol and good bottom to midend power, what would you suggest?

Well im doing the 351w swap, but i got a sign from god last night that i should do it. I was having a great night, and i was driving home on the highway, doing about 75mph, there was a nasty windstorn, about 60mph winds, and all of a sudden my hood was gone. It didnt come unlatched, it actually got pulled apart. I turned around and found it, its destroyed. So since you need a new hood for the 351 swap, i saw it as a sign from god that i need to do the swap.

i know very little.....but there is no mention of Rod bolts. Also, are the pistons forged?

im looking for a 94 ford van to salvage a 5.8L out of. I heard they are good to build.

94 might be a factory roller cam block...... dont have to use those expensive linked lifters.

look and see if serial number starts with F4 and if it has place to screw down lifter hold down plate in the center valley.
if it does, thats a good find.

I think You'll need a distributor for a 351w.
MSD has nice ones........
FRPP has all the other stuff........

If i wanted to use the twisted wedge head, i would need new push rods and stuff wouldnt I, if so what would i need?

you going to need to measure for custom pushrods.

Trickflow might be able to tell you, stock lengths do not work with TW's
they require special longer push rods.

the gt-40 heads canbe gotten off of any 5.0 mustang cobra or i want to say.. 96 1/2 and older explorer/moutainears.. maybe 97 1/2 and older but i am not posative.
I thought they used the GT-40P heads?
