Ok when I get in my mustang for the first time of the day the gas pedal is sticking at the beginng and is hard to mash. Then it frees up. But its almost like a catch in the beganing. I have cleaned the trottle body and oiled the spring on the tb. Is there a way to check and see if its the cable. Anyone else have this problem. It make for some very rough times in the mourning time when you cant mash the gas. lol

sounds like the cold morning air is binding the cable, then once it warms, it stretches. get a new cable, problem solved. you won't be able to do much with it, unless you re-route it to be straighter.

I bet your throttle plate in the throttle body is gummed up. Typically, itll do EXACTLY what youre describing. Super easy fix, just pop off your air intake tube, get a rag and some carb cleaner, spray the rag and clean the mouth of the T-body and the edges of the throttle plate. But if that sounds like something you dont wanna get in to, you can always go to a quick oil change place or a shop that does an intake cleaning service, (the products are made by BG or vesco). Itll remove all of that varnish and buildup.

I was thinking the same thing becasue if I dont let the trottle closee all the way or if I let off of the gas gently it does not stick, but if I floor it and then let it slam shut then the pedal is stuck again. I have actully sprayed some car cleaner and and took a rag and cleaned it . But it did not help, Should I remove it and clean it of get some better cleaner.

I would remove and clean. Also i think there is an actual Throttle body cleaner, a type of cleaner that won't take the coating off of the inside of the TB.
