AOD Trans
I have a 92 GT with a AOD trans and would like to know if a non-aod c-4 trans (or any non-aod) will work...Thanks

Will work with what? Are you just wanting to know if you can take out the aod and swap in a c4?

Yes, you can swap in a C4 but there are a few things that you will need to change.

Thanks for the replys... I just needed to know it it was worth getting the AOD rebuilt for around $1500 vs a rebuilt C4 for $500

Depends on how much you like your OD

it depends on what you use the car for, the c4 doesnt have an overdrive

Well are you concerned about gas mileage, highway use, etc.? A C4 with 3.73-4.10's, etc. will be like 3,500+ on the highway at like 70

Since you said weekend cruiser you'll just drive it around town right? If so, go with the c4. You only need OD for highway speeds.
