I said I was going to hide the wires. Never said under the liner. I was talking about like others have done and do it in the fenders. Hiding wires under a liner would just be stupid.

I think I'd get the whole engine BEYOUND clean and then use some real good quaility expoxy type paint on it.
I did my old race car that way and it was good for at least 7-8 years even with all sorts of stuff spilled on it and 2 engine swaps......
I got the stuff at Home Depot but I can't remember the brand or anything....
