Ahh, I C. Personally, I'd go with 3.73s. You can get away with 4.10s, but first gear is going to be real short. And if you add any more HP down the road, it's going to make it even shorter. And knowing your personality I think you'll be looking to add more power sooner than later. Not that it's a bad thing. My mustang was bone stock in July. Now I have nitrous, supercharger, gears, suspension, water / meth injection, rollbar, and some other minor mods.

Just go with 3.73s. It's enough of a difference for you to feel and it will let you add things in the future when you want them.
Well if i upgrade the suspension, will it do anything with the gears to make them feel way shorter? Also, im gonna go on the bottle soon enough. maybe a 100 shot!

See i hear that alot, that with a 5 speed sn95 its great to go with 4.10s, due to the body being a bit heavier.

But i really dont want to get rid of my long 1st, alot of the races i do are from dead stops and seriously, im bad *** off the line! I get all my traction and its my first gear that kills them!

I changed my mind 3 times since i've posted this thread, and so far its 3.73 or the 4.10!

Your right, if i do go with 4.10 and i start spraying, im gonna have about 2k to enjoy the spray then have to shift. Ut ohhh, 3.73s i thiiink.

I've said it before and I've said it here. People who tend to like 4.10s with a 5-speed are the same people who tend to have less HP. Like I said, yeah you can get away with it. But if you start adding nitrous, a supercharger, etc then the gears can get real short real fast.

Have you tried 4.10s on a 5-speed with 400+ RWHP? It can be so bad that people start contemplating launching in second gear.

+1 on the 373s. after i launch and get to the point where i can see everything again im barely ready to grab 2nd and thats w/ 373s. first is gone like that. i cant even imagine w/ 410s, i would probably be shifting when the front end is still up and that would be real gay
