Default Relocating Battery Help

I just got in my Taylor Battery Relocating Kit today and there are a few questions that I have.

1) Where should I ground the negative battery cable at in the rear?
2) How did you run the positive cable? Where did you crossover at? Did you run it inside or outside of the car?
3) What is now going to ground the motor?

1) Ground it to the frame
2) Long cable outside along inside frame rail (subframes/subframe connectors)
3) motor should already be grounded to firewall (orange wire)

1) Figured that but wanted to double check.
2) Ok sounds good, I have seen people run them inside also so thats why I was asking.
3) I know that the motor is grounded to the firewall but I wasnt sure if that would be enough... are you positive that will be OK?

2) yea, you could run it inside the same way you would amp wire for a large stereo but its a pita, removing all the interior crap.
3) lemme double check with a very reliable and knowledgable friend, one sec

1) I drilled a new hole and then took a wire brush to grind away any paint and rust. Then I grounded it directly to the frame that way. I wanted a clean contact.
2) I ran it under the car along the frame. Then just wire-tied it up so it was a nice clean install. It entered the trunk through one of the rubber drain plugs.
3) It shouldn't affect it at all.

If you want, I can take pics of my install later when I get home.

you should ground the motor to the frame up front as well.... you dont need to run a neg cable all the way back up front to the block

So I should make a new ground somewhere else from the block to the frame and still leave the one to the firewall correct?

Also, I agree with running it under the car, it will be alot easier. And samseed, I agree with taking the paint off. I have been doing that with all the ground I have been doing lately on the car during the wiring process. I just take my cut off wheel and just rub it against the frame (or wherever) so it takes all the paint of and down to bare metal.

Thanks for the help guys and samseed, if you wanted to take some pics for me that would be great but its really not necessary if you dont want to, but if your bored go for it!
