OE ftw!! Mine still has the oe after 14 years ans 152K

On the other hand, my wifes 90 snapped on her a few months back and her car only has 82K. I put an oe in for about $110.00

What would you say the OE can handle, hp & torque wise? I mean will it support an aftermarket transmission and such?

steeda FTW, they sell a kit with cable, quad., and firewall for about 100 a binding throwout bearing can case a cable to snap.... was the clutch pedle hard to press?
i put in a king cobra clutch, so it was significantly harder to press. though everything was fine at first, it soon started clicking at 90% disengagement. it kind of snapped little by little, i think? the wires are peeled like twizzlers, if that makes any sense, lol
Question:
Are you sure cable snaped >> clicking sounds like the quad is shot<<<<

because if you have a fully adjustable setup.. except for the cable... you can still adjust it

^through the firewall adjuster. or if you have a multiple hook quadrant. pain in the *** getting a non-adjustable cable on an adjustable quadrant though.

I used a stock cable and bbk quadrant and FW adjuster and the car wouldnt move, I had to get an adjustable cable for the clutch to engage
