I googled the vin and found the car I think. To be honest I think it looks pretty shady and also the mileage is kinda high. You should just try and find a 87-93. Especially if youre new to 5.0's this car might be a real headache and who knows what else this guy is trying to pull. If youre patient I think youll probably find a better car and a better deal. Dont rush into this or you might regret it later.

DONT NOT GET THAT CAR...i live close to newark you dont want to buy a car out of there your gunna get it and its either gunna have drugs in it or when you go to look at it your gunna get shot. go look somewhere else for a 5.0 there are plenty in the area in fact there is a forest green one for sale around here for 3k its got i think 70k on it and its a gt i think its an 88

I wouldnt get it there are plenty of lx's for sale in www.autoshoper.com in beter condition that that car that youwill probally have to throw at least 3k into to get in decent shape

M-1832-Z says about 6600 were built in 1986.
I wouls stay away from '86 as they have the famous 1 year only piston thing that makes them hard to work with.......

but as for $20 for a carfax report, i'd spend it. you never know what kind of problem it could have that he's not telling you. i mean, he's allready trying to bull**** you about the "secret" car. to me, that would be all the more reason to get a carfax report.
