I just use Bosch Platinum+4 plugs no need for changing gaps.

i use platnum autolites. i used the bosche plugs (platnum 4's) in another car and found them to be worthless. they fell apart on me really quickly.

the only plug that really burns hot enough for fords is motorcraft and autolite. the platinum 4s are NO better then the regular platinum, there a joke! just run motorcraft or autolite, u cant get a better plug for our cars! or some denso iridiums if u wanna pay $70 for a set of plugs.

use the motorcraft or autolite stock spec'd plug gapped at .052" and you should be fine!
BTW, all plugs have a heat range rating that has to do with the length of the ceramic insulator portion of the plug that sticks down into the cylinder. the longer this insulator, the hotter the plug rating and the shorter it is, the colder the rating. as engines are modified from stock, you may have to change the heat range rating of the plug to keep them burning clean, i.e. switch to a hotter plug OR to keep them from burning up, i.e. switch to a colder plug.
