A few thoughts come to mind.
a fully built unit running between $5k and $10k.

1. Why such low HP figures.

2. Why not the 351 .

3. How the hell can you get 500hp out of a 302, the block will split, unless totally redesigned.

4. there is no way, id pay that much for 500 hp, id just build my own dam motor.

5. is this pushrod or OHC crap?[>:]

6.A carb is on top , not my favorite.

I can answer #3,and 5 for you. #3 is that ford knows what the 302stock block can handle and theyve released what it can handle, but im not gonna write it cuz youll laugh your *** off and cuz i done even believe it. if you build the motor right tho with the stock block you can get way more hp than a lot of ppl on here think. as for # 5 that is deff a pushrod. ooh yeah a carb on top isnt my fav too. alright i finally said that the stock block can handle more than some of you think but i had to get it off my chest cuz ive seen so many poosts about ruined motors, flame away.

I think this is the block they are using:

http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts...tKeyField=9085

Also if you go here:

http://www.fordracingparts.com/jumppages/boss.asp?x=1

You can see the engines they are going to release in early 2007.
