i read the other post about the mustang not starting but im not sure if its the same. i changed my battery because the old battery wasnt holding a charge. the new battery is at 12.7 volts. when i turn the key it ticks once then nothing even if i turn the key again...no sound. what should i do?

its mounted on your fender near your bat. some cables should b run to it and it has two posts, touch the posts together

yeah my friend did that.....nothing happened. does that mean its a bad starter? exactly what two past do u touch?

starter is locked up. done it many times.
