WARNING!!!!!!!!

lose the 1 5/8 shorty headers, it's time for long tubes or equal lengths at least

my BBK shorty swap headers choked my power band at 5,200rpm and 350rwhp
bet they do the same to you. Lost 20+rwhp to my shorties, dont make the same mistake.

Remember this thing wants LOTS of air.
with better headers you should make high 300'srwhp like everyone said n/a

with 5lbs of boost ........... maybe add another 80 or so rwhp.

your 30's will be good n/a, but will definately run lean in higher rpms with boost.
probably need 42's

also........ worried about your s/c supplying enough air. it's not just
boost but how many CFM the s/c can provide to the stroker too.

as long as you keep the boost under 6psi, you should be fine with stock block
but you are on the edge.

So what is the cam?
All the BS in world about is worthless without knowing ALL the cam specs, not just lift/duration.
I concur, lose the shorty headers. Full length step header time.....

the Dart IRON EAGLE block 4-bolt mains all around and not the cheaper Sportsman is going to run you at least $2259 from adperformance and they are about 3 weeks out they come with freeze plugs and cam bearings, the cheaper one on summitracing is $20XX and doesnt come with the cam bearings and then shipping and you ahve to wait till end of the month, if you buy the $2495 one it comes with bearings and freeze plugs and then $92 shipping, go to adperformance regardless he has the best prices even on the sportsman if you want to go that route but might as well go big or go home in this game, plan for the future for sure, save the cash get the good stuff you'll be happy

I do have 1 5/8" equal lengths, but was thinking about going with long tubes. I'll know the cam specifics soon and Jay at Camshaft Innovations is putting that together now. I said I wanted a very "streetable" combo, but make periodic trips to the track.

I know I'm on the edge with a SC for the stock block, but am planning on doing 42's and losing the FMU when the custom tune gets done.

So what do you guys think about the fuel pump. Should I up it to a 255 lph or just add a kicker pump?

I'm still on the fence with biting the bullet and doing a block now, but I don't plan on going to radical. I'm thinking this is it for a while and was hoping to get by with all or at least most of my current mods. It is still a street car, but should be pretty sick I'd think.

This is probably a stupid question and I think I know the answer, but what would I need to do to get the SC to supply more air?
