whats up, so its my first run at moding a stang, i know ive alrdy gone the wrong way but whats done is done any advice as to good next steps would be appreciated....87lx, daily driver, cali, tryin to stick to bolt ons..by the way

stock...except
kN under hood cold air
bbk 75mm tb ( i know i went too big...right?)
trickflow u/l R-series efi ( prob wrong too)
bbk shorty equal length headers
flowmasters

open to any help..thanks guys

Underdrive pullies , bump timing up to 14*

MSD CAP, wires and spark plugs gapped properly, msd ignition coil. Electric fan instead of manual

yep, too big on the intake and TB.
all you did was lose throttle response.

you need heads and cam now.

bumping timing.
upgraded H-pipe
bigger MAF
Electric fan from Licoln Mark VIII ( yes there is hp waiting in your stock fan )
200amp alternator from PA performance
underdrive pullies

rear end gears will make a world of difference 3.73's or 4.10's

cam...scarry topic for a noob, any ideas for a good cam (brand) thats gunna keep it street legal and not be too much stress for the stock heads????

no big deal swapping cam with good set of tools

TrickFlow stg 1 cam would be very good.

Maybe look for some GT-40 heads off an explorer, on ebay for $300-400 all the time.

think it doesn't have a mass airflow sensor. 1987.

is your car speed density still? if it is i'd look into the mass air conversion

cool apprecaite it...with this help maybe ill get this thing right now..lol

OK last question (yeah right) my cars SPEED DENSITY..so i know they have a bunch of kits to switch to mass air meter, whats your recomendations on size/company etc..

You should look into suspension work/upgrade too.
