Default installation of cam

hey guys i was thinking about getting a new cam for the car, and i found a comp cam for about $200 with everything necessary. i cant install it myself so how much do you think thatll run me at a shop to get it installed. thanks guys.

sorry the truth hurts, there is plenty of other purchases that will help more than buying a cam

Shouldof done the cam when you were dion the heads, wouldof saved alot of time and hassle. But yea, i think a cam would be one of the best choices, its gonna be more work than others for the gain, but it'll make a complete HCI. Maybe spray it if your lookin for some extra HP...Its up to you, but shops usually charge around 60-80 an hour, thats alot for a 6 hour job, plus the price of the cam. You can get some n20 for 450-500 $$ and install it yourself and make more power than a cam will....But you'll eventually need a cam to see the full effects of the heads/intake. Good luck

Or you could just run some 1.7's or 1.72 rockers w/ your stock cam....

Look at the TFS stage 1.....
