Default cooling problems

ok for the last week or so i've been having coolant problems... some how my radiator is dumping out coolant into my reservoir and the coolant wont go back into the radiator... basically i have to fill the radiator with about 5 inches of coolant every few days. any ideas? keep in mind i have a new FRPP radiator, new 180 t stats, new water pump and mercury sable efan setup.

well for the stock radiator according to my haynes manual, its suppose to have a specified cap pressure of 16 psi, but this is for the 94 and up. idk if its different for the fox

You should need a 16lb cap. You've got a bad vacuum valve in the cap anyways.

is the reservior full when you top it off?.....cause if it is by you adding more too it the reservior will have to lose it on the ground, and the 13lb cap saying it works or not just beens it's going to take less time to build pressure vs your stat opening
