Default Help a new guy

hey im new to the forums ( first post )
and ive got a 95 gt vert with a 5 speed
the car is currently my daily driver and its a blast to drive but im ready to start modding the car. One reason is out of embaressment, seeing that a little nissan 300zx gave me a slap in the face up hill through the twisties[:'(]... i will put partial blame on my semi-conservitive driving and my buddy tim riding along.
my goal for now is to get the car into the low 13's
any suggestions? comments?

Easy way out would be nirous. Best way out would be do a complete HCI swap, then nitrous . Also suspension is very important, like you said in the twisties, you either get a suspension set up for drag, or for handling. Most mustangs have a drag set up, if you wanna run low 13's your gonna need a drag suspension.

Start out with your bolt ons though. Do full exhaust, pulleys, cai, bump timing, gears ( 3.73's, its a preference thing tho )

would it be to rediculous to ask for low 13's with a suspension which handles at least as well as stock?

the good drag suspensions, that can also be used for handling would be something totally adjustable, like coilovers.. I would do Heads, Cam, Intake, exhaust, CAI, Throttle Body and EGR Spacer, MAF, bump timing, gear(id go 4.10, your top end wont be too horrible, i beat turbo DSMs on the big end still) some sort of suspension and learn to drive really well

I would think 4.10s would be cutting it close as far as top speed is concerned. I had 4.30 a few years ago and 140 was rough. My motor hasnt been the same since.
