I want to boos tmy car but my compression is to high. Just wondering is there a way to lower it so I can boost like 8lbs? Its at 10.25:1 right now. Thanks

different pistons, thicker head gasket, bigger combustion chambers.

All of the above of or are they just choices? I remember hearing someone say about the head hasket just wasnt sure if is was realiable.

ya all those will help, but pretty much just get some new heads.. stock GT40's i think bring the compression to 8.5:1.. i think correct me if im wrong. but thats a way to go, also cheaper.

EDIT: depending on what pistons you have, or if you also have something different than a 302, like a stroker or something.

I agree. Swapping the heads for some with larger chambers, might just do the trick. I don't think thicker head gaskets will bring you down far enough.

gt-40's off an explorer will do that, not ones off a cobra though.
