my '95 LT1 never went to the track but it seemed like a 14.5 car and it was an auto 'vert
my '90 lx 5.0 'vert was 3450 w/ no driver and 1/2 tank of gas
LS1 can run in the 12's all stock if they hook
stockish lt1's are'nt gonna see 13's on their best day w/ street tires and average driver
make your car hook, and you'll have him so far out of the hole he'll quit b4 he realizes he might be able to catch up

bob i wouldnt go that far.. LT1's have alot of topend power.. they can pull hard from 120mph
not saying his car cant go fast, he is cammed and does have a tf intake
anyway like i said earlier, just race him.. it will be a good one [8D]

Aye bro I saw under the hood of this piece, maybe it wasn't a 2000, i cant remember the year but it was a newer one. Plus you gotta remember chevy vs. ford horsepower math. To figure out true chevy power you have to times it by .33333. and then times the fords horsepower by 1. Basically in english, 1 chevy horsepower is a 3rd of what a ford horsepower is. Meaning, if he has 300 horse, your lt1 you guys are so scared of is basically a 1986 honda with 100 horsepower. You got this bro, trust me, id bet my ***** on it.

i wouldnt get to cocky about it, judging from your mods it definitley gives you a better shot, but i have an ls1 and my buddy had a lt1 conv, we raced and i beat him but he would smoke my 5.0, i dont have the mods you do but i would have needed a lot to catch him, and i dont know how chevys only have a 1/3 horse to a ford 1 horse, let us know how it goes
