Why have people gone sour on trickflow?
It seems like b4 I got the kit (have had it installed yet) everyone was very pro trickflow, now many who in the past suggested it say it is overrated and overpriced. What gives?

I'm all for trickflow, theres just a ton of combinations and options for the 87-93 5.0's that people try and talk about. Just a big variety, your all set!

trick flow makes very good products its just like any other kits they arent made for optimum performance just an all around good reliable kit. so when people say i only got 275-280 rwhp and that sucks, you just went up 100 hp from stock, now i would not want a kit i would rather piece my own h/c/i i coud see better results, and maybe for cheaper but thats jmo

I'm not a trickflow fan....they have some nice stuff don't get me wrong but I'm not one for "KITS" the cams are good coarse since I think crane still makes them they are a tad over price but marketing let's them do such...they do offer heads with 2.02 valve that work with stock pistons when other do not...but it's about choice and the $$$ you have to spend..I'm sure you'll be happy with your choice

i guess its because everyone has them. i cant get a trickflow kit for my car so it doesnt really matter for me thats why when people ask about heads and intakes i say afr and holley systemax even though im going with an edlebrock rpm air gap intake

i have the tfs kit on my mustang & would buy it again. the choice is yours. you can buy pieces if you like or get a kit . keep in mind the kit is put together for a certain goal, if your goal is different than that you will be better off to buy pieces. for instance if you are going to turn 7 or 8000 rpm you would need something else , not this tfs kit. good luck.
