Default how to get out door actuator?

I have a 91 and got the door panel off but it looks like this thing is in there good. how exactly do i get it out? I didn't find any bolts.

also, i think it's fried but i suppose i should make sure before i rip it out. can i test it while it's still in the door?

It is riveted in. Look on the side of the jam under the latch mechanism and you'll see it. Take a center punch and knock out the round center part of the rivet and then drill the rest of it out.

no man you just gotta pull it out of the bracket. the bracket is riveted to the door, so just pull the actuator out of the bracket. i see no reason to drill them out, then go back and rivet them back in. especially if you dont have the large rivet gun.

Mine was stuck in there so bad that a drill wouldn't touch it, I had to get the cutting wheel out and cut the rivit face off and then punch it. But I got it!!!!
