Long trip with the 5.0 what to look for before i leave?
OK guys im In Florida right now going back to NY an im driving the stang which im a lil skeptic about,so what are some things to prevent me for breaking down on my way up got a 1,500 mile drive what are some things i should do before leaving like maintace wise to make the trip.

as long as the maintanence is all up to date you should be fine. Double check your tire pressure to maximize gas mileage. I have taken my stang on long trips. I think my longest is 1200 miles on one trip.

enigne oil, power steering fluid, coolent, windshield washer fluid and most importantly tire tread, make sure ur tires will handle the snow once you head north. Might also wanna check rear end fluid and tranny fluid. Basically the normal once over all fluids filters, maybe pvc valve loose connections, nething u think will cause you trouble for the trip. air and oil filter. a few hours now might save u a few hundred dollars and a hassle later. Hope the trip works out for you.

allright im just a little weiry on it u know never took her for long distance trips only like 50mile trips lol was just wondering thats all ive only had this car for 4months ive done rutain maintance new clutch plugs wires valve guide seals fuel pump brakes an everything wasn't sure how they were on long distance trips

Atleast you have stock gears, I couldnt image driving 1500 miles with 3.90's, 4.10's, 4.30's. That would suck a$$ lol I hate just driving it to my GF's house which is only like 10-15 miles down the highway.
