what about the world man o war block
+1 IMO they are without doubt the toughest/strongest blocks available. If you want to build a motor, there is simply no reason to look at any other block. Best on the market...IMO

After reading the article in MM&FF last month, I'd go w/ a Dart Iron Eagle if I had the cash. The overbore you can put on those blocks is incredible. They ran a 347 kit w/ a 4.125 bore making it a 370.

You can bore it out more, but they didn't want to push it. Run the 331 kit w/ a 4.125 bore and your looking ~341 or so...someone correct my math if it's wrong.

I just thought it was interesting....if you have the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

I heard something bad about the iron eagles a few days ago on another forum... I forget what it was though. It was nothing about the quality of the block or anything but I think it had something to do with the machining or something like that... anyone know what I am talking about? lol

I am building a dart 347 with a 4.125 bore it is 363.5 ci.

the dart sportsman is my choice it has the 3 center mains 4-bolt and the 2 outer ones are a 2-bolt.

the good thing about dart blocks is they have a better oiling system, and at a 4.155 overbore the wall thickness is still much thicker than the stock 302 cylinder walls.

the 331 kit with a 4.125 overbore is 347 ci.
