Wow it hauls ***!
Finally got a chance to get the ol' 5.0 onto a long, flat, strip of pavement and open er up. It pulled like a raped ape with this new cam and springs and stuff. Huge difference! I was very pleased. It used to pin you back into the seat in 1st when I could get traction, 2nd gear I'd have traction but it wouldn't push you back very hard and third, well third pulled "alright". Now it pulls really hard in 1st, really hard in second and a helluva lot more in 3rd. Can't wait until I get my next motor mod!

Yes I've got stock pistons, and no the valves won't/don't hit the pistons. As long as you install the cam straight up you will not have any piston to valve clearance issues.
Not yet. I need to take it to the track and see what kind of 1/4 mile times I'm putting down now. I'm guessing that my best ET with these mods this year (that is if I don't add anything else) with some sticky tires will be around a 14.5 and that's guessing really low. I'm pretty sure that it'll be lower than a 14.5 but we'll have to see.

cool, well congrats on it running so good.. maybe you should come down from that mile high elevation and see what you would run close to sea level? i bet ewith some sticky tires you would be mid to low 13's.
