Default failed emissions... again...

ok took the stang thru again, still failed. got better but failed

this time i had 87 octane gas in it, brand new smog pump(just because mine went bad and ate a belt), and found a vac line that was unhooked, so just put it back, lol. other than that no changes from last time...

this time the numbers were

hydrocarbons (HC), allowed 14.000 gpm, i had 1.2479gpm
carbon monoxide (CO) allowed 30.000 gpm, i had 8.1850 gpm
oxides of nitrogen (NOx) allowed 2.5000gpm, i had 2.6602 gpm

wtf can i do to get this damn thing to pass?

NOx is dirrectly related to your egr system. i would think about taking your egr off and cleaning it the best you can.

I couldnt believe how clean mine was on emmission testing when I put new O2 sensors in.

try that.

Nox is usually from the EGR system not working right.

Whats your address and I'll mail you a brand new EGR valve I have sitting here
