what better 351w or 351modifed i can get the 351m for 300 it a late 70's running but rebuilding but the 351w i can get for free what will make better power whats the differences

go for the 351w! the 351m/400 block uses a big block tranny even though its a small block plus they are very prone to detonantion and it will reguire rebuilding it with new pistons and closed chamber heads to solve the problem. so 351w all the way

well i have been think about going with the 351w and converting it to 4 bolt mains and roller and some edelbrock victor Jr. heads with a mild cam and wether i go carb or efi not sure but it going to be 9.0compression ratio might root sytle blow it after saving some money 1yr-2 but thats the jist of what im doing

I'd use the Windsor. 351M always were 'smog-dogs'..
Why the dished pistons, I'd use a flat-top.........
