im not sure what you mean, im looking at a few different mustang i may buy, and the guy said after changing the gears the ABS light came on

ooh ok see i didnt know what you were saying, we didnt have the info that you thinking about buying this car or that it had already been done. i thought that you were asking if it would come on if you did it. what gears did he put in? did he put the exciter ring back in, did he plug the sensor back in? there are lots of factors in this.

there 3.73 and he said it needs sensors in rear.

there you go then, if the sensor is bad i would assume, based on the info that thats your problem.
