Default Bad MAF Sensor???

What makes a mass air sensor go bad?
The reason I ask is; I recently started having Idle and Driveability
problems with my car. Surging at idle and bucking while driving.
I changed my MAF/S(24lb calibrated) to the stock MAF/S, the
idle and driveability problem is solved but it created another running rich
at idle. I will be using my Tweecer to try and correct this.

Low MAP sensor output voltage or a coolant sensor that reads cold all the time will allow more spark advance than normal. This, in turn, may cause detonation (spark knock) problems when the engine is under load. So too can a faulty knock sensor or an EGR valve that isnt working.

High MAP output voltage or a misadjusted throttle position sensor can have the opposite effect and cause the spark control system to retard timing more than normal. Retarded timing will reduce performance and fuel economy.

So the car was running well, then the idle went to crap, without any parts changes?

Can you datalog with the tweecer?
What adjustments have you made so far?

Puting a stock maf on while still running 24lb injectors will cause a rich condition.

We need to know more about the tweeks you have made.

What brand MAF was cal'd for the 24's?
