Default Rear End Gears or U-Joints?

Welp, I'm starting to hear some Clunkin goin on back there and it happens when I'm either:
A) Decelerating while in gear.(Simul-Clunk)
B) Moving from a Dead Stop(hear one clunk)
C) Doesn't happen at all when foot is applied to gas, no matter how much/little pressure

Not sure if it's the rear end gears or u joints as stated in the title.

2nd the u-joints. They are easy to check, just grab the ears of the d-shaft yoke and wiggle it back and forth. Movement=no good. I've changed so many u-joints in my Jeep they are easy to do now. Even easier with a press.

u dont need a press. Most likley your u-joints. Make sure your driveshaft bolts are tight. That very well could be it too.

No, you don't need a press. We used to do the socket and BFH thing...til we got a press. It just makes life easier. For the average car guy Harbor Freight sells one fairly inexpensive that would last for quite a while. We were doing front axle joints in Jeeps like everyother weekend for a while....thats alot of hammering LOL.

Well, Moosey you owe me 100 bux.
And it wasn't the U-Joints either...
Any other suggestions?
Sounds only comming from the rear
Hearing a Fast clunking then slowing down as I decelerate in gear
Doesnt happen when im on the gas
And it does one clunk from a dead stop trying to move.
