Default Clearance- intake vs. mounts

I just ordered some solid motor mounts that raise the engine 1/2". Does anyone know if this will have issues clearing the stock hood with the TF upper and lower intake (track heat)? I know the height of the upper and lower is 10.25", wish I had thought of this before ordering[:@]

I dont think you will have any issues as long as you dont have a spacer between the upper and lower intake!

why do you want to raise the engine? wont that make your car tend to roll more? most off the time the mounts lower the engine dont they?

Thats just what those mounts do, its not because they are made to do it. The eurathane is just thicker than the stock mounts by about a half inch!

Energy Suspension Poly motor mounts... solids should never even be an option in a street driven car

definantly shouldnt be a problem especialy if you have a cal hood, i dont know though, if i get bored today i might put my video camera under the hood shut it and see. but you could always take a 1/2 inch stick or something and tape or afix it at the plenum top and close the hood and see i guess.
