Default OT but related to posting on this forum EDIT: Solved

I used to be able to write text, and then highlight the text and add a link to another URL that way, but it doesn't seem to work anymore. How can I make a link, other than pasting the entire URL? Often, it's easier to make a link that says "click here" and have them click on that rather than cut & paste a URL thats 200 characters long.

Is it possible to do that again? Can't seem to find the method to do it. There has been a few times where I wanted to post links as a reply but the actual link is just too long.

Click on the "insert link" button. Type/paste in the link and then click ok. Highlight the link and type the word over it.

I was able to do it the olb fashioned way again today. Where I type out the text, then i go back, highlight the text, click on the "link" button, and enter the URL.
