Default D1-SC 2500$$..That a Good Price???

a guy up the road is selling a D1 procharger. with intercooler everything basically to hook it up.. and he said hed help out a lil on setting the timing and **** for it. 2500 a good price? the procharger was only used about 5000miles. and he wreckd the car. he said its pushn 12lb's right now with a small pulley. but he said it would deffently put my car in the 9's at 24lb's... hes got a 8second nova also.. so hes pretty good with cars n ****.. should i buy it or no?

no i am saying 2500 bucks aint bad. and i think he means 24lbs of boost. i say let him do it he is already suppose to be making like 500hp so i am sure the motor and block will hold it

24#'s of boost? Dont bother your motor will never handle it. Also, arent you running a 347 stroker or something now? Give us a build list of your car and than we can tell you if its even worth you buying a blower like that.

i got forged pistons crank and rods.. motor was actually built for a super charger or nitrous.. so im not waryed about it. and i wont run it at 24 pounds im sure... but i just wanted to see if 2500 was a decent price for all the stuff. ill probably just leave it at 12 pounds for now till i can get it re tuned n dyno'd. he also has 42lb injectors and a 90mm pro-m thats calibrated togather .. he said he used them with the procharger but i wasnt sure if they would work good with the procharger or not.. hes also selln them and a sheet metal intake...
