didn't know tremec made a trans tosell through for that is aftermarket. I think its the same trans as the TKO 600 but with a different name. It seems odd though because the trans they used in the cobra R in 95 was a beefed up t-5. It was only made to handle 325 ft/lbs tq. not 600.

There both made bytremec i bet there the same trans just summit decided to call it something diff.

seems like the same tranny just a different name. companies do that a ton and most people don't notice it. i'd say if its made my tremec than its probably a good tranny.

Have you looked at a G-force T5? You don't have to buy a different shifter or bellhousing. Also,Astro Performance sells them shipped for $2k including a centerforce (IIRC) 28-spline clutch. Better deal if you ask me since you don't have to re-buy a bunch of stuff.

you'll want a tranny with a 26 spline input, and I got my tko shipped for 1740$

Keep in mind that the astro performance deal is a rebuilt one rather than brand new and for the deal requires you to send back your old transmission in "acceptable" condition.
