Default torque box ?

has any one got a website with pics on how to install the upper and lower torque box reinforcements the uppers look pretty simple but they have a few pieces that im confused but lowers im lost on.

i'm welding up my torque boxes tuesday and was interested in same subject. if you google -torque box reinforcement mustang- there are plenty of sites with photos and information

sweet thanks bro i was told to bolt them in that it holds better than welding and the kit i got came with hard ware to bolt them in with but i think im gonna weld them in after i bolt them in.... it cant hurt.....

I've also heard you can strengthen the stock welds by welding up the gaps they skipped, but I don't know how much truth there is to that since I haven't done mine yet.

i installed the torque box reinforcement kit, then welded all the seems under the car, then i tied the plates that go inside from the torque box kit into my roll cage. my torque boxes should hold

yeah the ford technical ref manual says welding the seams is adequate. i guess the factory just tacks them in there. i'm not gonna buy the kits, just weld the seams. that should be ok since i have factory hp.

you can fix the stock welds and complete them it helps a fair bit, but once you have sticky enough tires or enough power, reinforce them, you dont need a kit.. i just bought some steel and cut it to fit and welded it in.
