Get what you like. I kind of like it, but not my personal choice.

The best look I (my opinion only) have ever seen for a stang was my 85 Cobra GT..it had the stock forward facing scoop that was used from 79 onward. Not the one that faced backwards....man i loved that side profile of that car.

Used to be able to get them in the aftermarket from...http://motorsportspartsusa.com/catag...chTerm=Mustang

I don't see them listed anymore though...

Managed to get one off of Ebay and am going to install it on my 87..not sure how it wil look with the Aero front end though.

I personally do not like the cowl hoods if used just for aestetics. They break up the original lines of the hood as viewed from the side. Foxes viewed from the side have an awesome profile. I love the relatively long slopeing hood as compared the the body. The cowls cause the front end to appear to appear bulky. Especially near the window. To me, this soemhow does not appear balanced to me. They are practical if you have a huge engine and intake though.

my personal opinion is the stock fox body \hood looks great, i would never change a hood unless i had a high rise intake other than that keep it stock put your money into something else on the car

Here is a pic of mine. I like it. I am going to need the hood clearence. Unfortunaltely I had to use hood pins as an added percaution because my body panels dont line up perfectly due to it has been in a wreck.

Does anyone know if the Cervinis heat extractor have any extra clearance? I put a Cobra intake (no spacer) and a 75 mm Throttle body on my 87 and the combo resulted in a nice little nipple in my stock hood. Which I then had to pound into a little "power hump".... I was burning through the vaccuum line to Throttle body and getting unmetered air in the intake. (MAF swap). Any info would be greatly appreciated.
