ok so yesterday i finished installing my bbk shorty equal length chrome headers.
now after the engine gets hot i smell something burning it smells like rubber.
is it just the headers because they are new or what could it be???

 

new exhaust will smell bad for a day or two

 

sounds to me you are smelling what i smelf after i put my exhaust on my truck. i think your experencing the new exhaust smell

 

yeah it'll stink a lil bit, but i always loved the smell of a new motor breakin in.. like my quad i just bought, that smell is intoxicating(if that's how it's spelt?)

 

Hell still like the smell of gas when I'm at the pump, and the smell of 2 cycle is even worse. I have to watch it sometimes.

 

I'd make sure that your plug boots and wires aren't melting.
