engine swap can be a very headache kind of thing. If the wires and the computer do not take well you are ****ed it is really a hard thing to do at times but if you have the time and this car is not going to be your only car then go for it but if it is going to be your car that you drive to work then i would say that you should get a already GT and just slowly put mods on it.
