Joking aside I see your point but under normal driving I see how bolt ons could work also I would think.

Just normal driving would cause them to come loose. Just get the bolt on if you want, put them on yourself...then down the road have them welded.

just get them welded for $100 at a muffler shop, the bolt on ones loosen from typical road vibrations and elongate the holes that the bolts go through, the welded ones are permanent and will not loosen, they actually fuse to the frame rails rather thanhold on tothem. jmo, do it once, do it right!

I have a WIFE, ha ha ha. Money spent on wheels has to be run past here. If I can show I can save some $$ I can get more done sooner, ha ha ha. I see your points on the welded setup. I will prob run with that but get bolt ons first or find a FRIEND to weld them.

when welding on subframe connectors does your car have to be sitting on the wheels how it normally does when its on the road?
can you just jack it up and weld them on?

Im just guessing but it would make more sense that it would have to be on the wheels.

Yes, it has to be sitting normal. I welded the sides really goodwith it all on the ground, then jacked it up and welded the inside.
