the spark plug angles on the gt40p are different so you will need different heads to go around them. nice car by the way

^^^Correct. The P heads relocate the plug to the center of the chamber, changing the plug angle. FRPP shorties will fit P heads. You really just need a header that comes out farther from the head before the primaries bend down toward the collector. Most longtubes work from what I hear.....

thanks a bunch guys. I had no idea. I am doing some reascurh and i think im just going to get a 331 longblock. I can get afr heard for like 12-1300 and i can get a whole longblock w/ heads for like 3000 or so. I think im just going to do it all at one time when i get me taxes back. Have any good ideas? Thanks guys!

any paticular reason? I am totally unsure what way i want to go with this, all i know is i want a 331 and i would like to keep my options open to supercharge it for the future, What compression should I be looking for?
