is there any way i can delete the smog pump with out having to buy a smogpump deletekit, i was thinking if theres a serpentine belt thats smaller than the one it has, and also if i will have any problem bydoing this, any advice or suggestions will be appreciated ....thanks

 

Just get a shorter belt...someone will know the belt size, I don't know for sure.

 

I beleive its 805k6 to pass the smog and AC. Lemme try and find that article i had about it. I'll post it up if i can find it. Its really easy by the way.

 

I forget the belt that I ran but its similar to a850k6 I think.....

You dont have to run a delete kit.

It won't increase horse power, just lessen parasitic drag...maybe a few RWH but nothing flywheel horse power

Ihave a part number for RE-ROUTING the beltfor no smog and underdrives...but not one for the stock routing....ive searched and cant come up with an exact belt size for some reason....is it a 770k6?

on my 85 I tried to use the 770k6 after deleting the ac and sm og but it didn't work I ended up using a 740k6 works great. No hp gian tho..
