It is just a stock block....it will be good if you plan on keeping the power under 450.

You could build your own for cheaper but if you dont want to do that than go for it. But just remember, its still a stock block...nothing special about it.

If you want a good strong block.....either find an older Mexican block.....or spend the money and get a Dart block.

unless your building a powerhouse you will be fine with that block. Ive put togetherafew motors with their short blocks, i like them allot, they do very good machine work on them. Buy th time you take your block, or any stock block, bore it, get anything machined that is out of spec, balance your rotating assembly and buy all of the parts you need you can get a a good short block for around the same price, depending on which way you go you may save money just buying a block, and allot of time too.

buy youreself a dart b/c as soon as you get that 331 in you will prolly boost or shoot nitrous to it b/c horsepower is addictive and that dss wont hold it just like a stock block wont!

Like posted above, if you dont plan on exceeding 450rwhp than the stocker will be fine.
