They did a shoot out on headers and MAC ranked number 1 in horsepower gains, that's part of the reason I went with the MAC headers nearly two years ago. They've now been on two cars (first on the vert and now they're on the hatch), I have had no problems what so ever with them, hell my #2 cylinder is missing one of the two header bolts (it backed out and I still have yet toput another bolt in there)and the bitch still doesn't leak. I'd go with BBK or UPRthoughfor the X-pipe. MAC mid-pipes = poor fitment and hangage. At least for the h-pipes, I'm not too sure how their x-pipes fit.

i have had a mac system on different mustangs over the years and zero problems with fit or quality
my 82 has a complete long tube & pro chamber + back 1/2 zero problem with fit
putting a 93 gt with the same except cermaic headers and the black stuff and neither car has what i have heard problems with the steering shafts
never used other brands before just mac several times
thats my 2 cents bout em !

I have bbk un equals on my car, i dont know what kind of bolts or gaskets they guy used when he installed them, but i have never had to tighten a bolt or replace a header gasket. Which are the 2 common problems with headers. I have had my car 6 months.
