It's not quite a stang, but under it's skin it is. Car is an 82 Fairmont with 22000 original miles. It's my sons car. Engine is a 93 HO, completely rebuilt by me. I put the engine in this summer, but it hasn't been running right. It would stall when it went in to "closed loop". After months of trying to track down the problem, I decided to replace the flakey tbird harness. I just finished a complete harness and ECU swap from a 92 GT.Car is a total sleeper! It'l boil the tires at will. Now I need to find an 8.8 posi rear end. Check out the pics.

Thanks for the props. It needs some finishing touches, but it's a blast to drive. Shocks and springs are next. Then maybe posi. I put GT sway bars on it. Stock GT exhaust for now. Car is a lotlighter than it looks. I figure about 2800 LBS with the swap. Makes for a nice power to weight ratio.

yeah those cars are light, hell with it do a lincoln locker.

What's a "lincoln locker"? a 9 inch? Anything that'll fit in an early fox mustang will fit.
