81K original miles i got it from a 60 year old man
it only does it from the start in 1st and reverse when you get going it feels ok possibly a glazed clutch
im not sure but it doesnt sound great anyone else have any inqueries i dont want to have to pay to get it diagnosed i feel the sound coming from the passenger side under my feet rough sound

does it go away when coasting faster in nuetral?

...wheel bearing perhaps?...cheap fix if it is......

I was gonna say the yoke on the driveshaft might me chopped... but it's smooth in neutral soooo.... idk? haha

yea alot of people told me to check the yoke is that commen to make a real rough feeling on take off

You may want to check you u-joints, if they are worn out they can make noise, may wany to take the drive shaft off and try 1st and reverse also, try to eliminate rear end and drive shaft that way,

yea im goin to check that, what about a glazed clutch since when its already going it feels fine its just take off in first and reverse

is the clutch slipping or is there just some chatter (noisy and jerking) when you let off the clutch in those two gears, and can you try to start off in 2nd gear, does that make any difference.

so i took my car to ford today and this is what they told me "found right side exhaust flange hitting drive line)
so i took it to my buddies shop and had them put it on a lift for me and it was nowhere near it, would be impossible to touch it unless i went off a 15 foot jump, so i feel ford took my 100 bux and told me bull****, so i had my buddy inspect it to see what he can find out he checked the u-joints were ok removed the dif cover and inspected it was ok exhaust clearance was ok
what do you guys think this is my clutch or my tranny thats about all thats left
