Looks like a good car to start with. Not to be a dud but before you put everything into the motor, you might want to make sure everything else is doing ok. For example, my motor has an oil leak that could drown a cat. instead of putting money into a motor that isn't going handle the extra power I am working on suspension and interior. The reason for this is I have my eye on 351 that I will fit nicely between the fenderwells.I don't know how many miles your car has but this could be something to consider. Also remember stuff like weather stripping and brake pads cost money too. Best of luck with your new ride man.

He SAYS that the only things wrong with the car are that it needs new door pins and header gaskets. The gaskets come with the car,so thats easy.

Definately get it up on jacks and look around. If it has any kind of leak you will know. Everything will be covered in oil. It never hurts. How many miles does the car have?

Yeah. Crazy, huh?

At any rate, I'm into V8s now, but used to have an Integra GSR...whatever the last year was that it was made...2001 I believe. I was so close to buying the new, black Type R the dealer had sitting in the showroom, but was trying to keep my car payment as low as possible. I always regretting not getting it.Mustangs are way better than Integras anyway. Regardless of quarter mile times, 5.0s feel 10 times as fast as VTEC cars.
