I have a squeaking noise comming from one of my pulleys. It sounds like its comming from the smog pump or alt. I put belt dressing on so its not the belt. Can i spray in there with some WD40 or something or is that bad? Its not all the time either, its like squeek.........pause..........squeek.........pause ...........squeek like that

Belt dressing will make it worse because it makes the belt sticky.Belt drssing is like VHT. UseWD40 instead. The belt is probably getting old and deteriorating. Serpentines, with their6 rib configuration is like having 6 v-belts fused together. Basically thats what it is. One or more of the beltsv's is worn or dried outand fighting against pulley. New serpentines actually have fibers (looks like hairs) that cover the v's and keep the belt quite. When the belt is worn, you down to bare rubber which is making the squeeking. My serpentine always squeeks after washing the motor. I just hit with WD40.
If that doesn't help then remove the belt and check the smog pump and alternator. Bearing could be going bad.

the smog pump is notorious for seizing up, but the alt will sound squeaky too if it's going bad.

is it charging ok ?

if the smog locks up you can bypass it for a while w/ a gates # KO60705 belt
that will pass the PS too though, but you can get to where your going.
if you have ud pullies you need KO60695

i used a garden hose to find out what pully was squeaking one time....real slow flow and gently wet the hub of each pully until noise stops. Then you know what device you will be replacing.

Might not be able to tell by taking belt of as you will never spin the pully as fast as a running engine.

I thought that if you spray belt dressing on a serpentine belt, can ruin the belt.
