Default Pulling Rear

Im working on pulling the rear out of our car so I can rebuild it and do a few other things. Before I get too far into it is there anything that I should look out for. Also how do I remove the e-brake cables from the drum assembly? I dont want to take the brake apart unless I absolutely have to. What is the order that I should remove the rear end? Do I remove the quad shock, shock, upper control arm, and then lower control arm to keep the spring from flying or is there a different/better way?

actually, if you lift the body after the shocks are unbolted, the springs will just fall out because they become decompressed

if u dont want to dissasemble the brakes just remove the axles and unbolt them from the rear housing four bolts each side plus the brake line fitting
