Shock question
I own a 1993 Mustang and just installed a pair of weld draglites 15x10 With Toyo Proxes S/T P295/50R15 105H. after i put them in i noticed that one side is lower than the other and rubs on any little pot hole, will getting it newshocks even every thing out?

RE: Shock question
The spring is what keeps it at height. If it sags, the spring is toast. Of course, I can't exactly see what you're workin with but the shock is only there to dampen movement. A car with bad shocks usually bounces over bumps. If the spring is broken or weak, its like a really bad latin drop job[:'(]

RE: Shock question
I had the same problem on my 87. Sometimes it would sag on the drivers side. I think it was my springs. I changed shocks and it helped minutely. Basically it helped the ride. Sounds like you got worn out springs.

RE: Shock question
pics would be most helpful, but the tendancy of a sagging side is springs, get under there and inspect for a cracked or broken spring, or perhaps a worn out or missing spring isolator, shocks (as said before) are for comfort more than height.

RE: Shock question
I am done I changed the shocks and they work great I just have to find a way to reroute the brake wire that is the only thing that is rubbing.

RE: Shock question
A 295 is a wide tire for a fox body. I am willing to bet your tire is too wide for your set up. Try taking a hammer and "massaging" the area on the inner fenderwellwhere the tireis rubbing. For your next set of tires try a 9 inch tire.....that will make your life easier.
