the shaft is scorred too and its before the seal so im wondering if its leaking going into the front pump ???i see no cracks in the converter its self, heres a pic of the scorr marks if that helps

sometimes u can get a sleeve for the seal on a torque converter like a seal on a harmonic balancer

yeah i was told that before, but i was also told and i can tell that the scorr mark isnt where the seal sitts on the shaft so something else made that mark plus the seal doesnt cover a half inch long on the shaft, so i dont know w.t.f. now, or why it leaked so bad

generally speaking... in the automotive work.. if you shake something, and it makes noise... its usually a bad thing

i geuss the pos must be leakin elsewhere like around the front pump its self

so how do u tell if the front pump is bad or leaking?? i cant see how the seal was leaking here so it had to be coming from the pumpo its self??
