Spring Compressor
can be done with a jack, jack the car up so that the tires come off ground and rear end sags, put on jack stands, place jack under rear diff, jack up to relieve pressure, disconnect lower control arms and lower the rear axle slowly the springs will come out.
yup they are right thats all i did when i was putting in new lower control arms at work one time haha we had to put new conrol arms in the front of my buddies 95 we conpressed the springs and tied them off with straps to hold them conpressed to put them back in haha talk about dangerous never doing that again but that was my bosses idea i have a pictuer of that i just need to dig it up
Aight, thanks guys. I did the front last year, but I used a spring compressor, but I borrowed it. I was just wondering about the back, didn't "look" like i needed one, but I figured some of yall would "know" if I did or not.
Thanks again.
